At the beginning of the 1990's, a vital need sparked an ambitious vision.

The need was for a manufacturing site to accommodate major automotive manufacturing facilities to meet the demands of the growing Indonesian market. In 1991, that vision started to be realized with the creation of Suryacipta City of Industry.
